LOVEY GOLDMINE
Lovey is a trained singer, dancer and performer who after a successful burlesque run in North America, moved to Paris in the 1970’s to join the famous Crazy Horse Saloon’s chorus line. When she returned to the United States, she brought several Crazy Horse acts back to The Loser’s Club in Los Angeles. She was a regular feature on CBS nationally televised show LA’s Two on the Town with Steve Edwards, a frequent guest on The Merv Griffin Show from Ceasar’s Palace, performed in commercials and did voice-over work. She retired from burlesque in the early 1980’s to raise a son and two daughters and returned to the stage for the first time after 30 years as an inductee into the Burlesque Hall of Fame in 2014. In addition to being a grandmother, a performing Burlesque Legend, she is currently a teacher’s aide at a Las Vegas elementary school.
