Delilah Jones was born in Nazi Germany and moved to North America when she was a young girl. She was 1959’s “most photographed pinup”, appearing in magazines and being photographed by Hollywood’s most well-known photographers. She became a burlesque performer in 1959 when she met Candy Barr and Tempest Storm. Delilah learned The Art of Striptease from Eartha Quake, and worked with the likes of Lili St Cyr, Sally Rand, Tura Satana, Jennie Lee, Kitten Natividad, and Gina Bon Bon, to name a few. She toured Canada from Montreal to Labrador, Mexico City, Hollywood and Las Vegas, working stints at well-known burlesque establishments like The El Rancho, Club Largo, The Body Shop, Pink Pussycat. She also starred in several Hollywood films, and ended up retiring from dancing in 1980. She debuted at The Burlesque Hall of Fame in 2013, after 33 years of retirement.
