2 day intensive workshop from 4 of Saskatoon’s Men of Burlesque performers, Andy Phucter, Jack Gently, Vitamin D and Peter MorningWood.

The course will bring a brief History of Burlesque and the Modern Emergence of Boylesque, Basics of Strip Tease and Peel from a Male Perspective, Stage Presence and Energy, Choreography, Characterization, and Bringing it All Together. Students will work one on one and in groups with Instructors to create their own individual unique style and starting signature number. This workshop centers around presenting as Male on stage and is open to all genders and body types.

January 28th from 10 am to 6 pm

January 29th from 10am to 5pm

Registered students will be contacted with a list of materials to bring.

Please note, private and other group instruction will be available post workshop. The instructors and performers bring a combined total of over a decade of stage time, ranging from veteran to beginner.

Students will have an opportunity to present their new skills in front of an audience of seasoned burlesque performers and fellow students for a peer review.
